Hello, and welcome to My Federal Job Search! I'm a recently hired federal employee, and I started this blog to help give some insider perspective on the government's hiring process. It took me nearly five years to get hired into my position, and I'm hoping to provide some guidance that will make your process go a whole lot faster!

Remember, some policies and hiring information might vary between government agencies, so I'll always try to break things down to the most basic level for the job seeker. In the event of conflicting information, it's better to defer to your specific agency's policy.
